MANAGING PARTNERS

David Hettich

Co-Founder & Co-Manager

Co-founder and co-manager of Shenandoah Energy Partners and has 18 years of energy/oil and gas experience. David has founded and managed multiple oil and gas companies, including oil and gas funds like SEP II focusing on the aggregation of land positions in Oklahoma and overseeing development (Coriolis).

Prior to this David established an exploration, production and operating company in Louisiana, aggregating production and drilling seismic based prospects both onshore and offshore. David has held senior positions as CFO of an ASX/TSX publicly traded company and VP of Business Development and holds a BS in Business Administration – Banking and Financial Economics from the University of North Dakota.

Edgar Mellor

Co-Founder & Co-Manager

Edgar Mellor is a seasoned oil and gas executive with over 23 years of experience in reservoir engineering and fund management. As Co-Founder and Co-Manager of Shenandoah Energy Partners, Edgar applies deep technical knowledge and strategic insight to lead full fund-cycle development and reservoir engineering initiatives.

His background includes leadership roles at Red Sky II, III, and IV, where he directed fund development from inception to exit. He previously served as Manager of Reservoir Engineering at Sequel Energy and held engineering roles at prominent firms such as SM Energy and ExxonMobil.Edgar holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.

Robert Shubin

Co-Founder & Co-Manager

Co-founder and co-manager of Shenandoah Energy Partners and has 18 years of oil and gas industry experience. Robert has founded and managed multiple oil and gas funds like SEP II focusing on the aggregation of land positions in Oklahoma and overseeing development (Red Sky). Prior to being independent, Robert spent nearly 5 years in the land acquisitions department with Kodiak Oil & Gas helping to grow Kodiak from a small independent into one of the top ten oil producers in North Dakota’s Bakken Shale.

Before joining Kodiak, Robert was employed as a field land-man researching mineral ownership and buying oil and gas leases for various production companies in North Dakota. Robert holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Masters in Energy Management from the University of Colorado at Denver.
